ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is outlining plans for vaccinating more people against the coronavirus as more shots become available.

Hogan announced plans Tuesday for mass vaccination sites in six centralized parts of the state. But he cautioned that demand will far exceed supply for some time. The Republican governor says that when the federal government boosts allotments of the vaccine, Maryland will have the infrastructure to quickly expand in locations statewide.

He says that more than 100 providers are now administering shots, including pharmacies, hospitals and local health department clinics. So far, Maryland has administered more than 396,000 vaccine doses.
