Police identify man who died in single-vehicle bridge crash

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — Police in Salisbury, Maryland, have identified the 64-year-old man who was killed when his vehicle struck a guardrail on a bridge early last week.

The Salisbury Police Deparment said in a news release Friday that Charles Bickauskas of Salisbury was crossing the bridge Tuesday, August 31st when he collided with the guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene after medics rendered aid for significant injuries.

The Maryland State Police conducted an investigation of the single-vehicle crash.
