ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Gov.-elect Wes Moore has announced that he has appointed Sen. Paul Pinsky to be director of the Maryland Energy Administration.
Pinsky is a Prince George’s County Democrat who has been serving as chairman of the Senate Education, Health and Environmental Affairs committee. He has been a state legislator for 29 years. The Maryland Energy Administration advises the governor and General Assembly on energy matters, promoting affordable, reliable and cleaner energy. Moore also announced Tuesday that Mollie Byron will be director of intergovernmental affairs for the incoming administration.
She is currently the director of government accountability for Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks.
