Tony Q Foxx
I was born in Dover Delaware and grew up around the Dover area. Used to listen to Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore and Ocean City area Radio stations. One of my early “dream stations” to be on was the original 100KHI.
I tried and tried and then finally the Hitman and Choppy gave me a chance. It was so great to be on KHI!! But as a young Radio talent you are always striving to get to the Big cities.
Well I did get the chance to move to great large market radio stations in cities like Wilmington, DE / Philadelphia, PA… Pittsburgh, PA… Daytona Beach, FL… West Palm Beach FL… Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL!!! So many great stations!!! Plus during all this time on the radio I am and have been a Captain on various large 400 passenger dinner vessels and some sightseeing vessels as well.
After 8 years at my most recent radio station in Miami, FL I thought my radio career was over… But… NO! The great people at the Voice Radio Network called me and asked if I would like to join some of my former KHI on air buddies on the New 949KHI!!! Well needless to say I jumped at the chance to recreate the good times back on KHI in Ocean City with my former KHI DJ’s Jay Silvers and Chris Kelly!!!
